Job overview
Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service is looking for a motivated and confident individual to join our Technical Services team as a End User Device (EUD) Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your digital career within a leading IM&T service supporting over 13,000 users across nearly 800 sites. The successful candidate will complete a Level 3 Information Communication Technician course.
NHIS provides a wide range of digital services including infrastructure, cyber security, and multi‑tier technical support. As part of our collaborative, experienced team, you’ll contribute to improving digital experiences for the health and care workforce across Nottinghamshire.
The post holder will work alongside the End user Device Engineers delivering technical and user support throughout the hospital and health community which will include GP practices and community services. Training will involve working under the supervision of an Engineer as directed by the EUC Service Support Manager/Team Leader in the build and commissioning of new and used equipment (workstations, laptops, i Devices, printers). Training will also include the patching of network equipment.
