Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated individual to join our esteemed Waiting List Team. If you thrive on ensuring efficiency, meeting targets, and contributing to effective theatre scheduling, this role is perfect for you!

As a Waiting List Coordinator, you will provide an effective and efficient clerical Waiting List service to patients, designated clinicians, wards, the Pre-Operative Assessment Unit and Specialist Nurses. You’ll ensure that accurate waiting list information is maintained at all times, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with appropriate consultants and other health service employees.

This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about making a difference. If you have a keen eye for organisation, efficiency, and customer service, we would love to hear from you!

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Computer literate with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of NHS or service provider in general
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets ie PAS, Excel or similar applications
Desirable criteria
  • Sound office clerical background

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above equating to NVQ 2 or equivalent work experience
