Job overview
We are looking for a highly organised, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our Diabetes and Endocrine department at Kings Mill Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and dedicated team that takes immense pride in delivering exceptional patient care.
In this key role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Diabetes Pump Nursing team, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of services and continuity of care for our patients. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will make a real difference in supporting our clinical staff and enhancing the patient experience.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
- To Support, co-ordinate and develop the insulin pump service within Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- To manage the introduction of new schemes of work to support the collection of national diabetes Audit data and coding of specific outpatient insulin pump service activity.
- To play a pivotal role in supporting the Diabetic Insulin Pump team by tracking the progress of patients through the pump pathway, whilst also identifying patients who are reaching the pump warranty dates and take appropriate action.
- To organise dates with industry educators, groups or individual appointments for people awaiting pumps or in need of upgrade.
- To provide day-to-day support to the Diabetes insulin pump service, Diabetes Specialist Nurses, Dietitians, PPCs and patients.
- To support fortnightly Pump MDT’s, Quarterly and a joint adult / paediatric bi-yearly meeting.
- To collate and present all Diabetes insulin pump waiting time and performance data.
