Medical staff provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team on the ward along with the ward manager and modern matron.
Inpatients are treated by a multidisciplinary team led by a consultant and the expectation is that there is shared responsibility for clinical management at an appropriate level. All inpatients have a care coordinator (either existing or allocated) and it is expected that the CCO is actively involved in inpatient care, thereby forming a link to AMHTs.
