Main duties of the job
Centralised Recruitment:

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide high standard, efficient and comprehensive support to clinical teams within the Dermatology Service.
The post holder is responsible for coordinating patient pathways and ensuring that the patients under the dermatology service receive their treatment within clinically appropriate timescales which are also in line with national referral to treatment (RTT) targets.
The post holder is expected to work within the wider administrative team and alongside clinical staff to deliver a high standard of patient care and proactively contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service.
Person specification
Experience
Essential criteria
- MS office and applications (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Previous experience within the NHS/public sector
Desirable criteria
- Competent user of the Electronic Patient Record System (EPR).
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A-C
Interpersonal / Communication Skills
Essential criteria
- Makes a positive contribution to effective multi-disciplinary team working
- Excellent customer care and communication
- Ability to adapt communication style as required
