As an Estates staff within the Trust, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Estates operations across the hospital.

Main duties of the job
Centralised Recruitment:
We have adopted a centralised hiring process for Estates support roles in bands 2-3 and 4-5. This means you apply once and are considered for multiple positions within our organisation, saving time for both candidates and managers while accessing a broader talent pool.
This week are currently recruiting for the following Band 4 role across the organisation:
- Safeguarding Administration Manager - 37.5 hour per week
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality, comprehensive, and professional administrative support to the safeguarding and child mortality teams.
- To support the maintenance of a consistent level of liaison between the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the community which will include adult and children Social Care, Primary Care Support Services, Child Health, CDOP, BOB ICB, CQC (DoLS), and the MASH. This will require the post holder to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- To efficiently complete the assigned tasks and deal with all information in a sensitive, confidential manner.
- To assist in implementing any new or further systems to provide a highly functioning equitable service across Oxfordshire and out of area counties where required.
- To undertake audit and projects related to safeguarding and child mortality.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will provide an effective comprehensive range of administration support and management of the safeguarding service that includes the Safeguarding Team, Safeguarding Liaison Service and Child Mortality Service team, being sensitive and maintaining a professional response to the challenging work required. This will require the use of excellent interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with patients, relatives, work colleagues and external agencies.
The post holder will have key responsibility to organise and support all safeguarding services and child mortality activity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS); maintain activity data logs, support the child death process including minute taking and report writing and provide a central communication point for the Trust’s safeguarding and child mortality teams.

- Formal education to at least degree standard or equivalent, or at least 2 years safeguarding experience
- Working experience of an electronic patient management system and advanced IT skills
