Are you looking to step up into a leadership role? Or do you want a change of pace in your admin work?

We are currently seeking a Administrative Manager to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the District Nursing and Community Therapy teams in the North and West of Oxfordshire. Your main focus will be ensuring the service runs efficiently and is well-organised, while also collaborating with Operational Managers and Admin Leads to support the development and modernisation of clinical services and administrative processes.

This is a excellent chance to contribute to the smooth delivery of healthcare services in the locality. 

Main duties of the job

  • In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the safe and effective management of the District Nursing and Community Therapy teams in Oxfordshire.
  • You will oversee and supervise all administrative staff within the locality, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, efficient administrative service to the team.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the service, working closely with Operational Managers, Team Leads, and Admin Leads to drive improvements and support the development of the services.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

  • To lead in the provision of efficient, effective, and flexible comprehensive administrative support to Locality Teams.  
  • To suggest and make recommendations for improvement to existing administration procedures.  
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Admin Leads, the organisation of effective clinical management systems, patient-centered practices, health and safety procedures and administrative processes. 
  • Ensure that appropriate documentation is maintained on EMIS as recorded by the administration teams. 
  • To ensure data relevant to this role is collected, recorded, and audited in a timely manner and reported to the Team Leads and Operational Managers as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the training and ongoing management of all administrative staff to undertake this work.
