Job overview

Help in the process of monthly financial information, the reconciliation of the General Ledger to feeder systems, and the investigation of financial queries from service managers. Provide a comprehensive clerical and administrative support service.

Work on their own initiative and be responsible for organising meetings for staff within the department and preparing papers as required, liaising with other Health Board Staff and external organisations.

Be able to communicate, and demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Main duties of the job

A vacancy has arisen for a Management Accountancy Assistant based in the Finance Department located at Bronllys Hospital.

This position will support the Management Accounts team. The key elements of the post are to support the production of accurate monthly financial information, to complete and input journals and to produce financial reconciliations.

Consideration will be given to part time applicants that meet the criteria (Minimum 20 hours).

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply
