As a Housekeeper you will be providing holistic and person-centred care supporting community patients in an acute setting.
Main duties of the job
- To assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy working environment for patients and staff, supporting nutritional needs of patients.
- To provide non-clinical support to the ward team.
- To work within a patient environment and have daily contact with patients and service users.
- To ensure Infection Control guidelines are adhered to.
- To work as part of the ward team, including attending necessary meetings, feeding back relevant information to support a safe and smooth running of the ward.

Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 2 award in housekeeping or equivalent (or willingness to complete)
- Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Level 2 Customer Care
Knowledge and skills
Essential criteria
- Basic Numeracy skills
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to follow written instructions /read notices and complete records
- IT skills word and excel
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role
