Are you a compassionate, detail-driven professional with a passion for making a real difference? We’re on the lookout for a highly organised individual to become a vital part of our Community Respiratory Team.
The primary purpose is to work closely with the UEC clinical team acting as first point of contact for administration role in the departments. Provide accurate and confidential administrative support to the UEC Division including, Respiratory, OPAT, Virtual Ward, UCR, MIU.
The post-holder will provide confidential administrative support within the team / service and to management, community team leaders/heads of departments for the UEC Division with a primary focus of Respiratory.
Please note that this job does not meet the requirements for work visa sponsorship and as such we will be unable to progress your application if you do not have the right to work in the UK.
Main duties of the job
- Supporting and providing Team Leaders will information from the Staff / Patient Electronic Records as and when required, including systems eg. Rio, e-roster etc.
- Participate in administration department and service meetings and take action notes and plans as appropriate.
- This post will support the Respiratory service vision
- General administration duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing for clinical / medical team
- Oracle Ordering - Responsible for ordering, checking in, distribution of stationary stock for community services via online oracle computer system. Receipting goods on oracle system for payment. Following-up any orders not received

Essential criteria
- RSA Stage III Word Processing (or relevant experience/ skill)
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration (or relevant experience)
- A good level of standard education, GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of Word Processing, databases, internet and computer systems
- At least 2 years office experience in a similar role
- Experience of NHS computer systems
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to liaise and communicate with people at all levels
- To be able to work as part of a team
