Associate Healthcare Scientist
Band 4
Job overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior ATO or Healthcare Science Associate to join our busy department for a twelve month fixed contract.
Cardiac Centre provides both an invasive and non invasive diagnostic service.
Main duties of the job
You would be expected to perform 12 lead ECGs and apply different types of ambulatory devices. These include Lifecards and Novacor monitors. Being able to analyse independantly would be an advantage as would experience in exercise testing or tilt table.

Essential criteria
- can perform ECGs independantly
- can fit heart monitors
- previous experience in Cardiology
Desirable criteria
- Level 4 Apprenticeship in Healthcare science
- Competency Certificate in ECG’s
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- 12 months experience in Cardiology dept or similar
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of basic computer skills
