Job overview
Join our Dermatology Administration team and play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their care journey. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and booking skin surgery, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for our patients.
We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with administrative, nursing and medical colleagues to deliver a high-quality, responsive and compassionate service to every patient.
Key responsibilities include managing clinic bookings, maintaining waiting lists and supporting the team to meet referral-to-treatment, diagnostic and cancer performance targets. Your contribution will directly impact patient experience and help deliver timely care.

Main duties of the job
- Provide general non-clinical advice regarding outpatient appointments and skin surgery to patients and their carers.
- Receive and make calls, in a professional and courteous manner, making and relaying messages.
- Ensure patient referral information is entered accurately into the Trusts computer system
- Maximise clinic and booking appointments and maintain accurate waiting lists, including to be scheduled list(s)
- Ensure patients receive all appropriate accurate and up to date information leaflets
- Supply data for weekly performance meetings
- To cross-cover as required in event of absence of colleagues.
