Job overview

As Local Workstream Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Central Lead to deliver the Order Communications module as part of the Oracle Health (Millennium) Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation at the Royal United Hospitals Bath (RUH).

This is a Band 7 leadership role within the IT department, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of diagnostic ordering across the Trust. You’ll be at the heart of a major digital transformation programme, helping to define and embed clinically aligned, digitally enabled workflows that improve safety, reduce delays, and enhance the experience for both patients and staff.

We are looking for individuals with deep expertise in NHS system implementations, particularly in:

  • Radiology (RIS/PACS)
  • Pathology (LIMS)
  • Oracle Millennium Order Management

You’ll work closely with clinical, technical, and operational teams across RUH and partner Trusts (GWH and SFT), ensuring alignment of workflows and contributing to cross-boundary collaboration. Your leadership will be key in:

  • Designing future-state processes
  • Coordinating SOP development
  • Supporting testing, training, and go-live activities
  • Driving business change and stakeholder engagement

This role also involves contributing to clinical safety, risk management, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to influence Trust-wide policy and protocol development.

If you're passionate about improving patient care through digital transformation, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

If sufficient response is received this post could be closed earlier than the specified closing date, please apply as soon as possible to ensure that your application is considered.
