Join our vibrant and dynamic multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) and make a difference in the lives of patients at the Dyson Cancer Centre at the RUH! 

Our Oncology Outpatients department offers compassionate care to adult patients with cancer and haematological disorders. With the unit working from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player who possesses outstanding communication skills and the drive to succeed. If you have previous healthcare experience, that’s a huge plus!

Main duties of the job

To assist in patient care and other ward/department related duties under the supervision of the trained nurse.

To carry out routine and additional/extended role duties, when trained and assessed as competent, as instructed by and under the supervision of the registered nurse in charge.

To contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with nursing colleagues and all members of the multi-disciplinary team, and work in accordance with the Trust values and hospital policies at all times.
