Job overview

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and innovative to join our neonatal team here at the RUH.

You will be responsible for collating and maintaining robust, timely and reliable data for upward reporting to demonstrate any variation in outcomes that may be impacted by health inequalities.

The role involves providing high quality secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant Neonatal Nurse. There will also be some opportunities to work with other divisional secretarial and administrative colleagues.

This is a valued role in which you will provide data necessary to support the neonatal senior team to provide accurate analysis of service provision, and to ensure that all data relating to neonatal care is collated and processed in accordance with national and local timescales for data submission.

You will be joining a friendly, welcoming team who are passionate about making a difference to our patients, their families and colleagues.

  • Actively monitor staff compliance with digital documentation and data entry.

  • Communicate and collaborate with the Consultant Neonatal Nurse and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • With support represent neonatal services within Southwest Neonatal Network data meetings.
