This is an opportunity  for an enthusiastic Dental Technician to join our Dental Laboratory team, in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontic department at the RUH.

Working closely with clinical colleagues, your primary responsibility will be the provision and daily management of the Oral and Maxillofacial and Orthodontic technical service.

The department is staffed by a friendly and professional team. The laboratory team consists of one Dental Laboratory Manager and two Specialist Dental Technicians.

Main duties of the job

In addition to direct hands-on laboratory work, you will undertake administrative duties, including dealing with patient enquiries and record keeping, further develop skills in the application of digital technology in orthodontics and oral surgery and maintain continued professional development.

You will also provide general support to the Dental Laboratory Manager and the other Dental Laboratory staff, ensuring that services are delivered effectively in the interests of patient care.
