On completion of the course and once in receipt of the British Casting Certificate, (60 credits at University Diploma level 8 SCQF equivalent to Level 5 NVQ, in working with a variety of casting material) the post holder will become a Band 5 Qualified Orthopaedic Practitioner.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the plaster  team, the Trainee Orthopaedic Practitioner will be able to work with a variety of resin based and plaster of Paris casting material.
