Radiology covers plain film, theatre and fluoroscopy, together with CT, MRI, interventional and cardiac work. The department is known for their forward thinking and innovative approach. These posts involve working on a rota basis, covering 7 days, in a variety of radiographic areas including the Emergency Department, theatres and fluoroscopy, as well as participating in out-of-hours duties. All Band 5 Radiographers are given the opportunity to train and work in CT scanning after consolidation of plain film, fluoroscopy and out-of-hours working. The out-of-hours service is in line with Agenda for Change.
