District Nursing fixed term contract vacancies available across Somerset!
Are you currently looking for a contracted vacancy within Nursing?
We are currently recruiting to various different maternity cover / fixed term contract roles across Somerset and would like to welcome you to become a part of our District Nursing teams.
Our District Nursing areas cover: North Sedgemoor – Burnham-On-Sea / Bridgwater district
South Somerset – Yeovil / Chard district
Taunton & West Somerset – includes Minehead district
Mendips – Glastonbury, Wells, Frome
If you have an interest in working out in the community and within the comfort of people’s own homes, then please apply today! You must be a Registered General Nurse and community experience is desirable but not essential. When you apply, please can you specify in your supporting statement your preferred location of work and we will do our best to honour this.
Responsibilities include: End of life care, Venepuncture, medication administration, wound care, leg ulcer management, catheter care, bowel management, continence assessments, diabetes management
Shift patterns include: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 2pm-10pm
Please note, we are open to hearing from applicants who are looking for either full or part-time hours on a contract basis. We are also recruiting to permanent District Nursing vacancies on a separate advert.
