Staff Nurse, Band 5

Band 5

Whether you’re newly qualified looking for your first supportive role, or an experienced nurse looking for a change, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We have opportunities in the community hospitals located in the beautiful South Somerset Area. Whether you’re inspired by the picturesque views at South Petherton Hospital, the charming community surrounding Wincanton, or the vibrant towns of Chard and Crewkerne, we have something to suit you.

Our nurses really care for our patients and we are looking for like-minded people to join us in providing excellent nursing care. We are interested in hearing from passionate registered nurses who want to make a difference to people’s lives.

This is an exciting time for us, as the NHS is changing to become more community focussed. Our nurse-led wards and complex patients will bring plenty of opportunity for upskilling in areas such as stroke, rehabilitation and end of life care.

This is an opportunity for you to be part of a talented team of nurses and become part of something special

In addition we can offer you a fully paid comprehensive induction and mandatory training days, including a DBS check and uniform, access to training and development and free onsite parking, among other benefits.

We also have a relocation package of up to £8,000 and will pay the first years registration fee for newly qualified staff.

Those interested in a bank contract are also encouraged to apply.
