An opportunity has arisen for permanent Theatre Practitioners at Weston General Hospital within Scrub/ Anaesthetics/Recovery. Full time and part time applications will be considered in either Main Theatres or Day Case Unit.
Weston General Hospital is situated on the south-west coast of North Somerset in Weston-Super-Mare just off junction 21 of the M5 motorway with excellent access across Somerset, down to Devon & Cornwall and the M4 link for London or Birmingham.

Weston Theatres is a small, friendly unit with a real passion for delivering the highest standards of care. We have 6 theatres, 2 in our Day Case Unit and 4 in our Main Theatre Unit.
We cover a wide range of specialties including general & colorectal surgery, breast surgery, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics and trauma.
You will be a registered nurse or ODP with interest in a career within the peri-operative care setting.
Experience in theatres or an acute surgical ward is an advantage but not essential.
We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and ODP’s.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, you will need to demonstrate a real interest in care of peri-operative patient with insight into theatre initiatives and practice development and the ability to be self-disciplined in a demanding environment. We provide 24 hour emergency services 7 days a week. Shift patterns include: days, evenings, weekends & on calls(main theatres only)
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
