We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our well established teams with a commitment to delivering high quality individualised patient centred care.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of individualised holistic patient care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
What we are looking for:
· Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant
· Completion of the Care Certificate (or willing to complete within 3 months of starting)
· Relevant healthcare qualification
· Clinical skills and competencies specific to the department (if you lack these then you’ll start as a Band 2 Trainee HCA, with progression to a Band 3 HCA upon completion of training).

Person specification
Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
- Level 2 intermediate Health Care Support Worker Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
- Care Certificate Certified competence in the safe use of laser equipment
Desirable criteria
- Level 3 Advanced Senior Health Care Support Worker Apprenticeship or equivalent level of competence which can be demonstrated by knowledge and skills gained from experience and competency-based training.
- GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in a care setting providing personal care
- Knowledge and understanding of current healthcare issues
- Basic computer skills
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working within an Acute Hospital setting
