An exciting position has become available for an effective Fundraising Co-ordinator who wants to work in a fast-paced fundraising environment.

With experience of working in fundraising, you will also have qualifications, knowledge or work experience covering deliver all areas of income generation, including community, events, major donor giving, grants, donations, commercial income, in memory and legacies. The post holder will support in keeping the charity’s supporter database, website and social media sites up to date.

The postholder will need to be able to work calmly and quickly under pressure and manage a large number of projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are an essential requirement as are enthusiasm and a proven knowledge of communication and marketing techniques within the charity sector.

It is also essential that you have a relevant degree level, or equivalent professional qualification in Fundraising, or Marketing.

Main duties of the job

To work as an integral part of the Trust’s Fundraising Team and be responsible for co-ordinating fundraising campaigns, identifying sustainable income streams and raising the profile of the RDaSH charity in the local communities it serves.

You will use your fundraising skills and experience to co-ordinate all areas of income generation, including community, events, major giving, grants, donations, commercial income, in memory and legacies.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the Trust charity’s website and social media sites are up to date.

The post holder will report directly to the Fundraising Manager and will work closely with the Head of Communications, Director of Strategy, Director of Finance, Care Group Directors, as well as the Charitable Funds Committee and the Fund’s Trustees.
