We have an exciting opportunity for an 8b Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team of psychological professionals in the Doncaster Care Group. We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a keen interest in service improvement and development and the skills to work collaboratively as part of teams and systems. You will be joining an enthusiastic team comprising Clinical Associate Psychologists (CAPs), Senior psychologist, Assistant psychologists and Consultant psychologists.

Main duties of the job
As the 8b Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the systematic provision of a high-quality and comprehensive specialist psychological service within the CMHT. The role will support ongoing CMHT transformation work and dedicated pathways and support with the increased delivery of psychological interventions such as Structured Clinical Management, You will work closely with our community Lead for Psychological Therapies and Director for Psychological Professionals in Doncaster as well as the consultant Psychologists in Doncaster to contribute to strategic service development and trauma informed pathways of care for working age presenting with complex / severe mental illness.
This post requires you to have highly developed clinical skills in assessment and intervention for clients presenting with severe mental illness and complex trauma. You will need to be able to demonstrate your skill / experience in developing and supporting multidisciplinary approaches and pathways. Experience in supervision is essential as the post holder will be expected to provide supervision to other psychologists in the service including Assistant Psychologists, CAPS and trainee clinical psychologists as appropriate.
Consultation, leadership, and service development are also essential skills for this post. CPD and engagement with our wider professional networks is supported and there is a strong focus on supervision and professional development.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Post-graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical / counselling / forensic psychology (or its equivalent prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
