eRostering Support Officer

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an e-Rostering Support Officer to join the E-Rostering Team at RDASH. We are a small friendly team committed to delivering the maximum benefits to the trust from our e-Rostering system.

The Support Officer role will include providing day-to-day systems support and training, requiring someone who has strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, together with effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), a can-do attitude and the confidence to support staff and managers to resolve their queries. The role is fast-paced and varied and requires a passion for problem-solving plus the ability to prioritise own workload.

The E-Rostering Team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the trust E-Rostering System. We have over 300 live rotas to manage, as well as ensuring that payroll is accurate and submitted every month. The team is also responsible for training managers and staff on how to use the system effectively and efficiently and supporting these staff in how to resolve any errors that may have occurred. 

Main duties of the job

To support the roll out of additional functionality to ensure full benefits realisation of the eRostering system including the payroll interface, competencies, employee on-line and Loop app. 

To provide an effective, customer focussed eRostering support service, ensuring all users are adequately trained and able to fully utilise the system; ensuring data is kept up to date and that changes are completed in a timely manner.

To support the delivery of training for the eRostering system.

Education/Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or equivalent in a relevant subject e.g. Business Admin, IT
Desirable criteria
  • ECDL or other equivalent IT qualification

Experience

  • Experience of working with an eRostering system
  • Experience of identifying and resolving system issues
  • Experience of collaborative working
  • Experience of working in a customer service/helpdesk environment
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working with Allocate systems
  • Experience of database management
  • Experience of delivering systems training
