The appointee will join in the 24/7 OOH service provision.

The successful candidate will be required to participate on the 24/7 out of hours rota and undertake a wide range of complex analytical procedures, performing a range of manual, semi-automated and automated tests using scientific knowledge and experience to comment upon and validate results in line with ISO 15189.

  • Stimulate and take part in scientific and technical research and development (Band 6)

The successful applicant, following appropriate training, will participate in the 24/7 service provision on either site, as well as contributing to the extended core working as defined in AfC terms.
