We are looking to recruit to a Part-Time Consultant Neurologist to work within the directorate of Neurosciences at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and will be based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The post will deliver a combination of acute neurology and stroke inpatient cover on the wards and outpatient clinics and enables the successful candidate the opportunity for this to be provided flexibly with on site and remote sessions.

Appointments are made to the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the person appointed is required to be sufficiently flexible to undertake their main clinical duties at any of the sites within the region and/or to change their base hospital.
The appointee, together with consultant colleagues, will be expected to actively participate in the management of acute neurological admissions and in-patients including the management of acute stroke referrals and in-patients as part of routine weekday and all out of hours periods.
The person appointed will be required to cover for colleagues during periods of absence. They will have continuing responsibility for patients in their care and the proper functioning of the Department.

- Name on the specialist register for Neurology or eligible within 6 months of the date of the interview. If an applicant is UK trained, they must also be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.
