Job overview

*INTERNAL MPFT APPLICANTS ONLY*

Are you committed to making a positive change and empowering service users to achieve a better quality of life?

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and caring individual to join our team within One Recovery Bucks, a drug and alcohol treatment and support service for people impacted by their own or someone else’s use of alcohol or drugs.

One Recovery Bucks is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our dynamic team. As a leading community drug and alcohol service provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals dealing with substance use issues.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you would provide high quality clinical interventions including prescribing for people with an opioid use disorder, alcohol detoxification and relapse prevention medication, health and wellbeing interventions and blood borne virus screening and vaccinations.

Main duties of the job

As a One Recovery Bucks NMP, you'll be an essential part of our holistic care approach, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the Clinical Lead for Buckinghamshire, you'll contribute expertise in prescribing and high-quality care.

We prioritise staff growth, offering ongoing training, access to high quality supervision and tailored professional development including support to develop and engage in research. The national footprint of Inclusion means there is a large peer network of specialist prescribers. This supportive environment encourages continuous learning in substance use treatment, prescribing practices, holistic care approaches and tackling health inequalities. This will support your professional advancement while delivering meaningful support to the people who use our services.
