Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual become the Team Lead for our CAST Team.
CAST support individuals with complex emotional needs including providing both Structured Clinical Management (SCM) and Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT).
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work closely with the MDT including psychology, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, assistant psychologists and administrators in order to provide excellent, safe and effective care for our client group.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of supporting those with complex emotional needs and risk management. Work closely with the MDT and wider Trust services and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Must have qualification in one of the following RMN, Social Work Degree/DIPSW, OT (2)
- Evidence of professional development.
Desirable criteria
- A Post Registration qualification or degree in relevant subject area.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Substantial experience of working within mental health.
- Demonstrate both managerial and clerical skills in previous post.
Desirable criteria
- Experience in working in an Adult Personality Disorder Service
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- The ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, information to clients, their families, carers and other professionals both within and outside the NHS
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
