Join the South Staffordshire Adult ADHD & Autism Team as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner across South Staffordshire.

It is an exciting time to join the service. The team is expanding, and we’re looking for a highly skilled Advanced Clinician Practitioner from either Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Pharmacy Professional background with relevant professional registration and ACP qualification.

You will join us in providing leadership to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred assessments and support for adults across the region and be passionate about transforming neurodevelopmental care for adults and play a key role in shaping a forward‑thinking, values‑driven service.

You will be responsible for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems and assess their health care needs, based on highly developed health knowledge and skills, including physical examination skills.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (must have completed Masters ACP).
  • Professional Registration in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Pharmacy.
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental assessment, mental health, or related clinical fields.
  • A reflective, forward‑thinking clinician who values co‑production and evidence‑based practice.
  • Be excited about service development and leadership.
  • A team player who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Main duties of the job

As the Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be expected to:

  • Lead on the completion of comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments for adults.
  • Use your prescribing qualification to support safe, effective treatment pathways within the wider team
  • Contribute to clinical leadership, service development, and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled, supportive MDT committed to innovation and compassionate care
  • Help shape the future of neurodevelopmental services in South Staffordshire

This role is Monday to Friday, typically 9am-5pm and will include travel over a large geographical area, so access to suitable transport is essential.
