Mental Health Social Care Pathway requires a Business Support Assistant - Band 3 (Agenda for Change)

0.69 part time post 26:00 hours per week (shorter day negotiable either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) – Blended Agile Working – Base and Home – Base – St. Michaels Court, Lichfield, WS13 6EF
Monday – 8.30am to 14:30pm

Tuesday – 8.30am to 12:30pm

Wednesday – 8.30am to 14:30pm

Thursday – 8.30am to 14:30pm

Friday – 8.30am to 14:30pm

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly experienced and hard-working Administrator to complement our Business Support team supporting the Mental Health Social Care Pathway.

The postholder will work to support all three practice Hubs, East, West and North and work predominantly but not wholly on performance support.

We are looking for an individual who has a keen eye for detail and knowledge and experience around clinical systems supporting our client care.  The postholder will be proactive in identifying data requirements and be experienced in data manipulation, extraction and inputting in a timely manner and to business requirements.

On appointment, the post holder will be auto-enrolled in the SWLA and aligned to the appropriate British Association of Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework.  The relevant SWLA ‘stage’ (i.e. stage 1 (ASYE), 2 (Social Worker) or 3 (Advanced Social Worker) will also be agreed taking all prior Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and relevant experience into consideration. The post holder will be required to take responsibility for their own Continuous Professional Development.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English grade C or above or equivalent experience
  • IT qualification equivalent to the competency level of ECDL/CLAIT etc.
  • Apprenticeship/ NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
  • Demonstrate a commitment to further training and development commensurate with the grade

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of using computer based information systems in an office environment
  • Ability and experience of using IT systems including Microsoft Office/MS Teams and have accurate and competent keyboard skills
  • Experience of minute taking
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge/ Experience of Patient Clinical Systems, in particular the Trust System and Local Authority systems
