Job overview

The team has recently received Platinum standard for the Clinical Excellence Framework .

We are a 31 bedded acute medical unit that deals with a range of medical conditions.  We also staff & manage the Medical Receiving Unit (MRU) which provides both a service for patients so that they can return for follow up after discharge & an area where new medical patients are assessed prior to transfer to an AMU or ward bed.

 It is important to give you a supernumerary period to ensure that you have time to orientate yourself to your new environment.
