The successful candidate will be required to support a busy Car Parking & Security department, supporting existing staff and support the service through periods of absence and annual leave within an existing rolling rota shift pattern as required.
Pay

Main duties of the job
We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic persons to join our Car Parking & Security bank support team who provide and maintain a professional, efficient, effective and timely service to patients, visitors and departments. Experience in this type of role is beneficial but is not essential as full training can be given.
Car Parking services are provided at the hospital 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, worked over a rolling shift pattern including weekends. A flexible approach to work, smart appearance, good communication skills and a high standard of customer care is required.
The position will involve long periods of walking up to 20,000 steps per day patrolling the County site, dealing with car parking queries as well as being the point of contact for site security, crime detection and prevention, operating CCTV and investigating alarm activations as well as managing security incidents and events, including de-escalation of situations and safe restraint as required.
Due to the requirement of the application of safe restraint techniques, an SIA door supervisors licence is required for this role.
