Job overview
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be based at County Hospital . As provision of care is in an outpatient setting of a 12 station unit, you will be required to work 12hour shifts days over a 6 day working week. This will be three 12 hour shifts per week.
As well as completing the role as a Band 2 clinical support worker on the satellite haemodialysis unit your role will include the below duties found in the main duties section.
As a Band 2Clinical Support Worker you may be required to carry out and perform a range of clinical based skills in conjunction with the above key areas/tasks. Skills include:
- Weighing patients
- Blood Glucose Monitoring
- Take Swabs
- Support and Assist New Staff- Buddy System

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Evidence of good numeracy and literacy
Desirable criteria
- Care Certificate (This is mandatory to undertake in the first 12 weeks of employment commencing)
- Ability to cover a variety of shifts over 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays
