Estates Team Leader (Engineering)

Job overview

The University Hospitals of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Team Leader (Engineering) trained to City & Guilds Craft Level or equivalent in electrical/mechanical engineering on a permanent basis. You will be keen and enthusiastic working with a skilled team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to a large acute hospital

Main duties of the job

The candidate will ideally have experience of leading a team, job allocation, CAFM systems, time management & staff appraisals/PDR'S. It is essential that you are an effective team worker with the ability to provide support to other managers & colleagues within the Estates Department. The role also requires 50% of your time assisting in the maintenance and repair to the various engineering systems on the hospital site, including some statutory testing of the decontamination plant and equipment (no experience necessary as training will be provided). You will be stationed at County Hospital working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm) but must be flexible when required. You may be required to work at other sites belonging to or serviced by the UHNM and take part in an on-call system.
