Job overview
An exciting opportunity for a permanent post for a Band 6 senior staff nurse has arisen to work part of a senior team on a fast paced Oncology and Haematology outpatient unit .
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work as a part of an experienced Senior team delivering high standards of care and support to the staff within the unit and the B7 Senior Sister
You will be expected to work part of a team and have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and enthusiastic and keen to develop knowledge and skills around Senior leadership and Oncology and Haematology - SACT
- Managerial responsibility for the nursing team within the unit
- Nurse Led outpatient unit
- Caring for Oncology and Haematology patients .
- Take responsibility and take NIC role .
- take responsibility for the junior team
