Job overview
An exciting opportunity for a band 6 secondment has arisen for committed, highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individuals who have skills and knowledge in Acute Stroke Nursing as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse.
The hyper-acute and acute stroke unit is a 28 bedded unit offering high quality stroke care including post thrombolysis and post thrombectomy care.
Main duties of the job
If you are a quality driven person wishing to deliver a high quality service to our patients and their families, have the ability to work well within a dynamic ward environment and develop specialist nursing skills, we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- • Registered Nurse on NMC register
- • Diploma in Nursing
- • Evidence of degree level study in health/nursing related studies
Desirable criteria
- • Recognised qualification in teaching & acessing
Knowledge, skills, training & experience
Essential criteria
- • Experience in a neurological speciality as a qualified nurse
- • Experience in hyperacute care
- • 1 years of management/leader ship experience
Desirable criteria
- • Minimum of 3 years post registration experience to include 18 months in Stroke

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
