Preceptorship Midwife

This opportunity is for newly qualified midwives due to qualify in September 2026

We have positions open on our fully supportive preceptorship programme where you will be supported to work in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal areas with progression to band 6 rotational posts

UHNM's midwifery preceptorship offers a total of 9 weeks supernumerary over 12 months and 3 ward areas.  You will be allocated a preceptor who will support you through your first year in midwifery alongside the preceptorship lead who can develop you with an bespoke package.

At UHNM we want to attract the strongest midwifery candidates who meet our high expectations and work within our Trust values.  As the highest calibre candidates you will commence at mid-point band 5 on the agenda for pay scale
