Bank Pathology Courier 

An opportunity has arisen within the Pathology Directorate. We are looking to recruit Bank Pathology Couriers within the Pathology Department.

The post holder will be required to be available on request to cover annual leave and other absences of the Pathology Courier staff. 

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen within the North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service who are looking to recruit a part time Pathology Courier.

The post holder must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a current driving license.

They need to  be able to work to a tight schedule and must have a good knowledge of the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire areas.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in a team and alone
  • 2 Years driving experience
  • Has experience in courier / delivery driving in the North Staffordshire area
  • Previous experience collecting diagnostic samples.

Skills and Ability

Essential criteria
  • Work under pressure, prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with all levels of staf
