We are delighted to be able to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative and dynamic Band 7 (Bank) Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly team at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM).
We pride ourselves on working together as one highly skilled Speech and Language Therapy team and we are looking for a Band 7 (Bank) therapist to join us to work as part of the Acute Inpatient Team at The Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of the Speech and Language Therapy team providing advanced skills in dysphagia and communication assessment and therapy across the inpatient settings of Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital. This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to work closely with uni/multi-disciplinary teams/agencies, addressing a range of care/support issues across a spectrum of conditions, improving the health and wellbeing of the population served

- NHS experience
- Worked independently in an NHS hospital environment
- RCSLT dysphagia competencies to a minimum Level C
Desirable criteria
- Experience of VF
- Experience of FEES
- Experience of trachy
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree in SLT
- Registered with HCPC
