Main duties of the job
The University Hospitals of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Maintenance Apprentice educated to a minimum of GCSE English and Mathematics grade C/4 or above. You will be keen and enthusiastic working with a skilled team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to a large acute hospital. You will be required to complete the apprenticeship within the specified time as part of the contractual agreement and will be expected to attend and complete all the training sessions / modules for the programme as set out as part of the academic learning facility e.g. college course attendance via day release and activities within the workplace. You will be stationed at Royal Stoke University Hospital working 37.5 hours per week, but may be required to work at other sites belonging to or serviced by UHNM.
