At West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking to expand Our Critical Care Bank nursing workforce. We are looking for dynamic, motivated, and compassionate registered nurses who have a desire to care for critically ill patients.

 

Supporting our staff is at the heart of what we do within Critical Care at West Suffolk, we have a well embedded relationship with the Trust Wellbeing Support Team, as well as registered Professional Nurse Advocates, an initiative which is expanding throughout the trust at present. 

As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be integral to supporting the journey of patients during their stay in Critical Care.

Main duties of the job

As part of our nursing workforce, you will be responsible for:

Assessing and monitoring patient conditions

Checking symptoms and vital signs

Recognising, responding to and managing emergency situations

Planning, Delivering and evaluating standards of evidence-based nursing care

Working as part of the MDT to support patients throughout admission to Critical Care Services

The role will involve but is not limited to you performing the above.
