Job overview
Main duties of the job
To provide administrative support to the contracting team in managing the community equipment and wheelchair service contracts. The community equipment service contracting team is currently based at the Disability Resource Centre in Bury St Edmunds. Opportunities for hybrid working will be considered for this position.
KEY TASKS:
The role is split into various categories of responsibility. The post holder will be required to manage their time and workload efficiently and effectively. This role will be managed as part of the Trust’s flexitime package offered by the Trust.

Education and qualifications
Essential criteria
- Evidence of experience working at required level
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, grade A - C (or equivalent)
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of NHS Policies and Procedures
Experience and knowledge
Essential criteria
- Proven use of office systems including MS Word, Publisher, Outlook and Excel
- Sound judgement and logical approach to situations, with ability to determine and implement solutions
- Experience of keeping up to date and accurate information
- Experience of data entry
Desirable criteria
- NHS experience
- Community or third-party sector experience
- Proficient use of Excel and/or enthusiasm to develop knowledge in this area
