We are looking to appoint an apprentice Talent Acquisition Assistant to support the Talent Acquisition team to develop our attraction agenda, employer brand, and our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), assisting the delivery of specialist attraction and resourcing campaigns.
You will work within the Talent Acquisition team to support the Talent Acquisition Specialist in delivering campaigns for specialist and 'hard to fill' vacancies across all staff groups, providing recruitment administration and support processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to launch their career in the field of talent acquisition, recruitment marketing and employer brand.
Whilst in post you will work towards and complete the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship.
You will be welcomed as part of a collaborative team with opportunities for personal development and growth within the role.
Whilst primarily based at Heatherwood Hospital, it will be necessary to travel across to our other sites Frimley Park Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital.
Main duties of the job
- To respond to queries, both face to face, via email and telephone, take messages and pass them on to the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner.
- To undertake data input, photocopying, filing and administrative duties as directed.
- To undertake administrative tasks as requested by senior team members.
- To provide administrative support to senior HR staff in relation to recruitment initiatives e.g. preparing material/collating information for open days and careers events.
- To deal with internal and external post and emails on a day to day basis.
- To support the team to maintain accurate, timely and legible records.
- Use a number of HR systems on a regular basis, including the Electronic Staff Record (ESR), reward, benefits and recognition platforms.
- To meet and greet visitors as required.
- To obtain and retrieve non-clinical records as requested.
- To maintain filing systems in line with organisations policies and procedures.
- To maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- To attend and take part in team meetings & regular reviews with line manager.
- To be responsible for the use of physical equipment and to report any defects in equipment as appropriate.
- To undertake ad-hoc projects as required.
- Assist in the creation and design, production and distribution of talent acquisition material and digital assets.
- To provide admin support to the senior HR team including diary management, typing of notes, co-ordinating papers for meetings etc.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good general education (5 GCSEs or equivalent at C or above) or equivalent experience
- ECDL or Microsoft Office Specialist qualification, or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Certificate in HR Practice (CHRP / CPP) or equivalent level of experience
