Would you like to be part of a highly successful Learning and Development Team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust?

We are a large training function delivering a wide range of programmes and workshops for our staff in collaboration with our subject matter experts and practice development colleagues.

We are looking to appoint a pro-active and motivated Learning and Development Administrator to be part of the administrative support for all training courses, and ensure training records are kept up to date in a timely manner.

Whilst this role is primarily based on the Heatherwood site in Ascot, it will be necessary on occasions to travel to our other sites at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey and Wexham Park Hospital in Slough. Therefore, you must be able to travel between sites.This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to launch their career in the field of business administration in learning and development. You will be welcomed as part of a well-established training team, with opportunities for personal development and growth in the role.

Whilst in post you will work towards and complete the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent level apprenticeship programme.

 

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a team to administer training courses that benefit staff by equipping them to provide better, safer patient care by:

Keeping accurate training records and provide reports

Administering training courses in a timely manner, ensuring effective communication to all users

Create new training courses on Oracle Learning Management (OLM) system.

Capture new training courses on OLM/ESR for reporting purposes.

In addition you will provide administration and IT support for the wider Learning and Development team for all training programmes, activities and workshops delivered.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • IT Qualification to an NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or equivalent
  • Willingness to work towards and complete the Business Administrator apprenticeship qualification of equivalent apprenticeship programme related to the role
Desirable criteria
  • Business Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Experience of data input
  • Experience of working in a clerical/administrative role
  • Experience of dealing with large volumes of work
  • Experience of working in a service led and customer focussed environment
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a large, diverse organisation e.g. NHS or other public sector

Professional / Speacialist / Functional Experience

  • Good keyboard skills
  • Data input skills
