Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Paediatrics team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

In this key front-facing role, you will be responsible for welcoming patients and families as they arrive in the department, helping to create a friendly and supportive environment. You will also play an essential part in the smooth running of our busy daily clinics, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the high standards expected across the Trust.

The key responsibility will be to  develop and maintain effective working relationships with all Trust staff including clinicians, nursing staff and Directorate administration staff to provide an accurate, efficient, professional, and seamless service to patients and visitors. 

 

 

 

Main duties of the job

Welcoming and checking in patients upon arrival, accurately verifying and updating their demographic information on the Trust’s patient management system.

Providing timely and courteous assistance with general enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and support.

Essential criteria
  • Good standard of written and spoken English
  • Good all-round Secondary Education including GSCE English or equivalent.
  • Good IT skills. Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Good administrative skills, organised and methodical, with good attention to detail including spelling, grammar, and accuracy
