If you are an HCPC registered Dietitian with extensive NHS clinical and management experience, looking for an opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a friendly and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

This post offers a unique challenge for a highly motivated and experienced expert dietitian with proven line management experience, excellent communication skills and a passion to support innovative service development at our hospital. This is a leadership role with operational responsibility for the inpatient dietetic service. Specialities include general medical, surgical, gastroenterology, older peoples services, renal, stroke, ICU and paediatrics.

  2. To provide operational leadership for the service.
  3. To take the lead responsibility for the provision of high quality care in the service to the local community in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  4. To provide clinical leadership, taking the lead on specific professional initiatives in collaboration with other team leaders and AHP leads.
  5. To be responsible for service development, particularly to develop integrated working and to develop improved patient pathways across primary / secondary care services.

Working for our organisation

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.

We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. We cover some of the most prosperous postcodes in the country, as well as some poorer areas. Together with our colleagues at NHS Surrey and NHS Sutton and Merton, we work to make sure that we deliver the best possible care to the communities we serve.

The Trust employs approximately 5,000 staff across its hospitals and is supported by over 500 volunteers.
