Senior Cardiac Physiologist (Cathlab & Pacing)

NHS AfC: Band 6

Trosolwg o'r swydd

We are seeking a suitably qualified Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust.  We are a very active department providing a wide range of investigations and are looking to expand our team of multi-skilled cardiac physiologists as our Invasive services expand.

The post holder will still benefit from the opportunity to rotate through all aspects of the department. We have a busy Pacemaker/ICD implant and follow-up service; we are the leading implant centre in Surrey for ICDs and CRTs with an extensive remotely-monitored patient population.

Our Cardiac Unit carries out diagnostic and interventional catheterisations including FFR, OCT, IVUS, IABP, alongside Electrophysiology Studies, RF ablation and simple/complex device implantation.

Applicants should have a substantive cathlab and pacing post qualification experience including remote monitoring management. BSc in Clinical Physiology/ HTEC MPPM (or equivalent) and RCCP registration is desirable. Extensive knowledge and experience in invasive techniques are essential. Further post-graduate learning is desirable (HRUK/IBHRE). Successful applicants would be expected to potentially rotate across both sites (Ashford & St Peters Hospital and Woking Community Hospital)

Visits to the department are encouraged. For an informal visit or further information please contact Kelly Garrett on either 01932 722530 or [email protected]
