Job overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join an expanding and driven endoscopy service. We are looking for hard working individuals wanting to be part of a diverse and capable administrative team to join us in our aim of providing high quality and effective services.

Main duties of the job

The Endoscopy Booking Coordinator plays a key role in the patients pathway. You will be involved in communicating with patients and their relatives, and both internal and external staff members. There are varying administrative tasks that constitute the role and, following training, it is expected that you will be competent in achieving a wide variety of these tasks independently. Key tasks can include:

Communicating with patients via telephone and email.
Booking patients in for various procedures.
Liaising with clinical teams to ensure correct pathways of care are maintained.
General admin such as filing and record keeping.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The successful candidate will need administration experience or equivalent experience in a similar role dealing with patients in a professional manner and to the expected high standard. Candidates will be experienced working is a busy team and be able to work within strict deadlines.
