Job overview

An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen for a professional and compassionate qualified nurse to join the established nursing team within the Women’s Centre at Crawley Hospital as a Staff Nurse (Band 5); to care for patients referred for colposcopy and outpatient hysteroscopy.

This is an important role within a small motivated team, contributing to the effectiveness of the unit as a whole. The role involves preparing the clinic environment, supporting the patient at all stages of their outpatient procedure and assisting the colposcopist/hysteroscopist.

Evidence of personal development, supervisory skills and computer literacy is required. An approachable and flexible attitude is desirable, as is the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently at times.

The Women’s Centre is a friendly dedicated team who were proud to achieve SASH Front line Team of the Year in 2018 due to positive patient feedback.
